Welcome!

Welcome Wreath on Front Door
In addition to my Living with Seniors blog, I'll chronicle what progress my husband and I make updating and improving our new home on this blog, Our American FourSquare.

I have 9 months worth of before-and-after photo entries to post. But after that, posting will likely be infrequent because our budget and careers allow us to take on only one project at a time.

While I do hope any readers appreciate this blog, this is more for posterity's sake, so I can look back in a few years (or maybe months, even), and say, "Wow! We're really making this place our own!"

The following are photos we took during the inspection, so they are raw - no furniture, no decor, just the bare bones of the house as we bought it.

Front sidewalk leading to front porch and entrance.

Front view from street.
Side view from alley (leading to drive and rear door)

View from rear door onto patio and yard.

View from back yard onto rear of house.
